A week from today I will be on a plane for my second trip to India. I am so glad my mom and I will experience what Northern India has to offer together. This will be our first trip to Delhi, Agra, Mathura, and Rishikesh before we meet with our yoga group for our yoga retreat.
It has been a wonderful year for me. I started leading retreats, teaching at conferences, teacher trainings and special events in addition to my regular classes and trips to assist my teacher Shiva. This is the first time in many years that I will take a yoga trip for me to receive and enjoy being a student. The best part is that I will get to share this wonderful experience with my mom.
We will visit the Iskon and Lotus temple and India Gate in Delhi before traveling to Agra where we will visit the Taj Mahal. We will also visit Fatapur Sikri and Red Fort before we go back to take another look at the Taj Mahal in the evening.
We will visit Mathura (Krisna’s birth place) on our way to Rishikesh. After 3 days exploring and sightseeing we will get to Rishikesh where an ayrvedic massages will await us. Then we will join the Ganga Arti in Parmath.
These few days are just the beginning of our stay. Once we meet the group many more adventures will be in the horizon for us like water rafting, cooking lessons, shopping, yoga and meditation daily, more temples to see and more.
I will try to post my adventures in my blog from time to time while I am there so please visit regurlarly and feel free to comment as well.
I am so excited that I cannot wait to be there.
